The Lois Dress is a couture-feeling, slightly more tailored riff on a traditional column dress. It has elbow-length sleeves with subtle gathers at the shoulder, a nipped-in waist and an A-line, midi-length skirt. It’s made from a shimmery fil-coupé georgette sourced from an Italian textile house that may or may not supply fabric to a very famous maker of tweed jackets. (Rhymes with personnel.) The unique texture of the fabric causes it to shed a little in the beginning, but give it a gentle shake and you'll be all set.
